The applicant must be an interested livestock farmer.

The livestock farmer must be eligible to avail a bank loan.

🚀 Application Process

Offline

The scheme will initially operate offline. Once the departmental portal becomes operational, beneficiaries will be required to apply and register through the portal.

Applicants must submit their applications to the District Level Implementation Unit (DLIA) at the district level, along with the bank’s consent letter for loan approval. After scrutiny of the applications received by the DLIA, a list of eligible applicants will be prepared. Upon completion of all formalities, final approval will be granted. The approved applications, along with the beneficiaries’ forms, will then be submitted through the concerned bank for further scrutiny and loan recommendation.

The bank will provide information on the amount of interest subsidy granted by the state government to the DLIA each quarter, corresponding to the beneficiaries’ approved loans. The DLIA will prepare a bill for the said amount and submit it to the treasury for payment.

The State Monitoring Committee will be established within the Animal Husbandry Directorate, Dehradun. The committee, under the control of the Director of Animal Husbandry, will monitor the progress of the scheme and ensure its proper implementation by issuing necessary instructions to district-level officers.
