The registration of the applicant should be renewed annually.

The applicant must be engaged in building or construction work.

The applicant must be registered under the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCWWB).

The worker’s membership with the Welfare Board must be active at the time of application.

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the Labor Welfare Office (during office hours) and request a hard copy of the prescribed application form from the concerned authority.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste a passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with a wage slip or appointment letter from the employer, verifying 90 days of construction work. If unavailable, a certificate from a local authority (such as a councillor, executive officer, or Panchayat Secretary) can be submitted to verify employment.

Step 4: After submitting the documents and payment, the worker will receive an acknowledgement receipt confirming their registration.
