The applicant should be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.

The applicant should be a Building or Construction Worker.

The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 60 years.

The applicant should have worked in building or construction activities for at least 90 days in the preceding 12 months.

*The registration should be renewed annually.

For Application

The worker should be engaged in building or construction work under the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

The worker should be registered with the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

The worker's membership with the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board must be active.

The child of the worker should be mentally retarded/disabled and dependent on the registered worker.

Step 1: Take the print of the prescribed format of the registration form.

Step 2: In the form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste a passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed registration form to the Labour Officer.

  • A one-time registration fee must be paid at the office, and it will be valid for three years.
  • After three years, the worker must visit the office to pay a renewal fee and submit proof of 90 days of work each year to maintain eligibility for benefits.
